Feeling a little ‘uplifted’ by LIFT

So, I’ve recently been fortunate enough to be involved in the Leading Ireland’s

Future Together (LIFT) programme - and all I can say is give it a go!

Like many remote CPD’s, we sign up for random pieces & are a tad apprehensive if not wholly uncertain as to what we are about to encounter. So, when I logged into the session I have to admit I wasn’t 100% sure of what I was about to embrace.

Well, embrace it I have. From humble beginnings with senior students, before Christmas. To amazingly uplifting online sessions, since the school closures.

Possibly the best part is, the students do all the work; and in turn reap all the rewards by navigating the rich & relevant content within each theme. They maturely and succinctly make observations & set weekly targets.

This program is for everyone, in fact this week marks the point where we bring a little ‘LIFT’ to a small recruit of 2nd years (online) - attempting to spread the leadership positive vibes.

Go on - google it & check it out. You won’t regret it. Sought after by employers, backed and engaged in by industry‘s finest - could this be the very 21st skills we need in these surreal times?
